Volunteers Needed
Calling all students! Do you want to help reduce food waste in our community? Join Razorback Food Recovery (RFR) this semester!
What is RFR? Razorback Food Recovery is a student-led and student-operated volunteer program through the Volunteer Action Center. RFR works to recover excess food from on-campus dining outlets and local partners - food that would otherwise go to a landfill. With the help of Chartwells, Greek Life houses and Ozark Natural Foods, Razorback Food Recovery can distribute excess food to those who experience food insecurity both on-campus and in the Fayetteville community.
Volunteers are needed for the following shift times (applicants can choose one or more shifts to volunteer):
-Tuesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m. (Distro)
-Wednesdays noon-1 p.m. (Grocery processing)
-Thursdays 2:30-3:30 p.m. (Distro)
-Thursdays 10-11 a.m. (Retail recovery)
Your commitment would be once a week for the remainder of the semester.
