Workday Student Onboarding Launches Today
This spring, our campus will be using a new student information system, Workday Student, and transitioning away from UAConnect. Workday Student is an addition to the Workday faculty, staff and student employees now use.
Students will be accessing Workday for the first time to complete onboarding activities that were previously separate holds in UAConnect. This includes updating contact information and reviewing financial agreements. Additionally, financial aid activities will be available to students when they first log in. Students will be encouraged to accept or decline their fall 2025 financial aid after completing onboarding.
Students will also use Workday Student to register for their fall 2025 classes, beginning with advanced registration on April 7, 2025.
"Our exceptional Workday Student team has been working hard over the last few years to get to this point. It's exciting to finally have our students complete their first tasks in Workday," said Dave Dawson, senior associate vice provost for enrollment services and director of Workday Student.
Student information, including grades and completed courses, will be updated throughout the spring semester. Students and advisers should still use UAConnect for the most accurate information during the spring semester.
Accessing Workday can be done from either myapps.uark.edu or by downloading the Workday application to a mobile device.
Instructions for completing onboarding and accepting financial aid can be found on the Student Information System website or the University System Student Training website.
