Angeedel Clark, who has served the university in several roles since 2002, is retiring.

She was most recently a procurement buyer for the university's Central Supply unit within Facilities Management, a position she has held since 2013.

"Angeedel has been a great asset to Central Supply, FAMA and the U of A community," said Arthur Maton, buyer supervisor. "She was steady and dependable. Her construction services crews routinely had deadlines, and she made sure they obtained the materials and services needed to get the work done on time. We will miss her efforts, her friendly personality and her calming presence here at Central Supply."

Clark first started at the U of A within University Housing, working as a shipping and receiving clerk, before switching over to Facilities Management in 2013.

Beginning as a buyer for campus zones, Clark eventually took over as buyer for the maintenance shops and helped organize inventory in the warehouse located at FAMA headquarters.

In the almost decade Clark spent working in FAMA, she built a rapport with those around her that led to relationships that Clark said, "felt like family."

"I sincerely enjoyed my time working in Facilities Management," Clark said. "I feel blessed to be a part of this great work environment."

Clark said she is eager to rest in retirement and spend quality time with her family.
