UARK affiliates gather on Old Main Lawn for Cruise to Campus Wednesday.

The Office for Sustainability is excited to welcome students, faculty, and staff back to campus and to kick off another semester of Cruise to Campus. The first event of the year will take place on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, from 7:30 to 10:00 AM on Old Main Lawn, near the Inn at Carnal Hall.

Cruise to Campus was created to foster a welcoming community for bicyclists- whether experienced cyclists or first-time riders- while rewarding those who use active transportation to get to and around campus. Since its launch in 2023, the event has brought together over a hundred U of A community members, offering them warm coffee, good food, and a welcoming space to connect with fellow bicyclists.

Now in its third year, Cruise to Campus is expanding! For the first time, the event will take place year-round rather than just during the academic year. Since many affiliates still commute to campus in the summer, the Office for Sustainability is excited to keep the event going every month from February to December.

All are welcome at Cruise to Campus. Whether you ride every day or haven't been on a bike in years, we'd love to see you at our first gathering of the year this Wednesday, February 5th, on Old Main Lawn.
