The U of A Mock Trial team hosted its second annual Mock Hogs Invitational at the University of Arkansas School of Law this past weekend! Team Bowser and Team Yoshi competed against schools from across the nation, while Team Donkey Kong helped run the tournament.

We want to congratulate all of our members on their success this weekend, starting with Team Donkey Kong! Students Hayden Foster, Brendan Welch, Abe Wardlaw, Abigail Johnson, Nia Taylor, Andrew Stathakis, Anna Wood, Jackson Johnson, and Cindy Lin contributed by running tab summaries, assisting with judging, and serving as bailiffs.

Alongside, from Team Bowser we would like to congratulate Mary Owen on receiving an 18 rank witness award on the defense and Charis Morasch on receiving an 18 rank attorney award on the defense. 

Additionally, Team Luigi competed this past weekend, finishing with an impressive 6-2 record! They earned fourth place at the Mid-Missouri Invitational in Columbia, Missouri.

We are incredibly grateful to the hardworking students and law faculty who made it possible for us to host for the second consecutive year. We are also thrilled to attend such competitive and respected tournaments while representing the University of Arkansas! We want to congratulate all of our teams for their hard work and dedication as they head to regionals.
