Students from the Muslim Students Association and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship will host their eighth Peace Feast — a gathering that brings Muslims and Christians together to share a meal and engage in meaningful conversations. The event encourages open dialogue, respectful listening and the opportunity to build new friendships.

The Peace Feast will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22. This semester's discussion topic, "Fasting as a Spiritual Practice," will explore the role of fasting in both faith traditions.

The event is free and open to all who are affiliated with the U of A campus. Participants are encouraged to register by Feb. 20. Transportation is available for those who request it during registration.  The event is sponsored by the Tyson Center for Faith-Friendly Workplaces, which is providing a halal Pakistani meal from BBQ Bentonville
