Starting Monday, Jan. 13, Razorback Transit will be running a new Lot 500 express route during peak service from 7 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. to improve the trip time from the Union Station to Lot 500 and back to campus.

The buses running on the new route will supplement Route 48 service by taking Razorback Road from Maple Street to MLK, Jr. Boulevard without making stops and then picking up at locations including The Marshall, Baum-Walker Stadium, The Cottages on Hollywood and Lot 500.

The additional route was established in response to student input and should improve bus frequency and provide those parking in Lot 500 with a shorter trip time to campus. Transit estimates a bus should be picking up every 25 minutes on the route.

Passio Go! has been updated to reflect the new route, and it provides real-time locations of all transit buses to give riders the most accurate and timely information on bus operations. Any questions about transit services can be directed to the Transit Department at 479-575-7433.
