Two sections of campus streets will be under construction beginning today, Monday, Dec. 16. Detours and transit routes will be in place to navigate the changes.

Construction crews are expected to close the Garland Avenue entrance to campus at the Maple Street intersection until Tuesday, Dec. 24. Signs have been posted at the site to indicate the street is closed.

Razorback Transit will adjust its routes to access the Union Station using the south entrance as well. Departure and arrival times may be affected because of the adjusted route, but no significant impact on transit operations is expected. Any official university vehicle that needs to access the restricted area of Garland Avenue can still access it from the south entrance between Gibson Hall and Gregson Hall.

A section of Stadium Drive is also going to be closed for construction from Monday, Dec. 16, to Tuesday, Dec. 24. Crews will block off both lanes of Stadium Drive from Meadow Street to the driveway leading to the Stadium Drive Garage. Work should be finished by 5 p.m. each day and reopened for the evening until work resumes the following morning. Detour signs will be place in the area to help vehicles navigate around the area.
