Joy Estepp, senior admissions analyst for the Graduate School of Business at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, has been named Walton College's Employee of the First Quarter for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Employee of the Quarter award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional customer service and performance in their roles. Estepp's outstanding contributions to the college were particularly evident in her handling of the recent Executive M.B.A. (EMBA) program applications. Despite unusual circumstances and late notice, Estepp ensured that all applications were processed timely, and her efforts contributed significantly to a 77 percent increase in EMBA applications and a 66 percent increase in EMBA enrollment—the largest EMBA cohort ever for Walton College.
Estepp has been praised for her steady and exceptional service to both current and incoming students. Over the past five years, she has consistently met challenges head-on with remarkable flexibility. Her efficiency, exceptional customer service and positive attitude not only enhance Walton's reputation but also play a crucial role in the success of the EMBA program for the college.
Any full-time Walton College staff member can be nominated by their colleagues for this award. Walton College Dean Brent Williams, associate deans and the Walton College Events Committee select the winner.
