Speech and Debate Continued Success

This weekend, the U of A Speech and Debate Society traveled to Arkansas Tech to compete in the Argy-Bargy tournament. They had three members make it to the next level of competition and came home with four placements.

Percy Blaich — Novice Octofinalist, undefeated in preliminary rounds
Carter Stainton — Novice Octofinalist
Hadley Adkinson — Varsity Semifinalist
Izzy Swafford — Junior Varsity 5th Place Speaker

The team is now focusing on preparing for SFCT in January, which will host debate and speech events.
