Gaza Diaries: A Doctor's Testimony
The Students for for Justice in Palestine registered student organization is bring an Arkansas doctor to share his experiences from Gaza with campus.
Dr. Ahmad Yousaf, an Arkansas-based pediatrician and ICU director, will speak on his experiences providing emergency medical care at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Gaza. He will recount the humanitarian challenges he encountered and the resilience he witnessed while delivering care under restricted conditions.
When: Thursday, 5:30-7 p.m.
Where: Bell Engineering Auditorium, room 2282, U of A
Yousaf, who faced significant barriers in delivering medical supplies, will discuss the realities on the ground, including the toll on families and healthcare providers. Attendees are welcome to join for an evening of reflection and learning, with food and drinks provided by a local Palestinian-owned restaurant.
