The iFriend Program at the U of A would like to invite members of the campus community to participate in a program that connects international students and scholars with American hosts for a Thanksgiving meal.

If you are an American community member, and you would like to invite a few international students, scholars and their family members to join you for your Thanksgiving celebrations, please submit the host registration form by Thursday, Nov. 14.

International students and scholars who are interested in joining a local family for their Thanksgiving meal and experiencing this special American holiday should complete the Thanksgiving interest form by Thursday, Nov. 21. Students who sign up for Thanksgiving will have the opportunity to confirm their participation the week prior to Thanksgiving by selecting their host and menu. This year, Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, Nov. 28.

A Thanksgiving reception will also be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25. At the reception, Thanksgiving Dinner hosts and international students and scholars will have the opportunity to meet their Thanksgiving match, exchange contact information and finalize their plans for Thanksgiving Day.
