Do you have ideas about how to support active transportation on campus? Is there something you've been wishing for, but don't know who to ask? Join the Office for Sustainability and our campus bicycling community for a letter writing campaign at this semester's final Cruise to Campus event. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to ride their bicycle to campus tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 5, and join us for complimentary breakfast and beverages on Old Main Lawn between 7:30 and 10 a.m.

Cruise to Campus Wednesdays aim to reward individuals using active transportation to get to and from campus. These events have fostered a gathering space for people biking to campus and have offered support and encouragement for interested riders as they learn to navigate campus by bike. Whether you bike every day, or are biking for the first time in years, you will be welcomed at Cruise to Campus.

The Office for Sustainability works to make active transportation safer, more equitable and more enjoyable for all people on campus. As our campus continues to grow, support for alternative modes of transportation becomes increasingly more important. Not everyone will want to bike, but those who do can contribute to safer campus streets, cleaner air and a more enjoyable transportation experience for everyone.
