Arkansas Taekwondo Club Wins Bronze at Midwest Collegiate Taekwondo Competition

Arkansas Team at MCTC

Arkansas's Cardinal Taekwondo Club won bronze this Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Midwest Collegiate Taekwondo Competition (MCTC) in Boulder, Colorado. Collegiate teams and individaul competitors from around the U.S. competed in Poomsae and sparring.

Represented collegiate teams were the University of Colorado Boulder, Denver University, University of Northern Colorado and the United States Air Force Academy. Individual awards went to:

  • Stephanie Cotariu, a senior French and excercise science major, won silver in A division Poomsae.

  • Elijah Narciso, a freshman psychology and biochemistry major, won bronze in Men's C division sparring.

  • Lydia Quinn, a senior geography and civil engineering major, won silver in Women's C division sparring.
