Volunteer With Razorback Food Recovery

Are you looking to make a difference in your community? Razorback Food Recovery is in need of volunteers for a brand new shift: Ozark Natural Foods (ONF) distribution. As an ONF volunteer, you'll play a key role in ensuring food reaches those who need it most. While you'll be part of the distribution team, this role offers a unique opportunity. You'll start by prepping the Razorback Food Recovery van with necessary supplies, then drive to ONF, where you'll work alongside fellow volunteers to organize and load crates of grocery items. Once loaded, you'll deliver the food to the Full Circle Food Pantry on campus for community distribution, which pantry volunteers will manage from there. Join us in helping our community thrive!

A drivers license is required. Volunteers are needed 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays This shift will be weekly for the rest of the fall 2024 semester starting Oct. 21. Apply by Oct. 15 on Hogsync or contact recovery@uark.edu for more information!

What is RFR? Razorback Food Recovery is a student-led and student-operated volunteer program through the Volunteer Action Center housed in the Center for Community Engagement. RFR has eight board members who work with over 20 volunteers to recover food from on-campus dining outlets as well as local partners.
