The U of A United Way Campaign launched Oct. 1.

This year's U of A United Way Campaign is well underway and ends Nov. 1. To date, more than $26,000 has been raised.

Renewals and new donations will be accepted online throughout the campaign.

"The United Way campaign provides our campus community the opportunity to get involved and give back to help serve non-profit organizations that play a critical role within our local community," said Elvis Moya, associate athletics director of community outreach and fan engagement. "Your donation goes to work right away and makes a difference for a variety of essential programs."

The United Way of Northwest Arkansas has served the region since 1931 with the goal of bringing communities together to help those in need throughout the state. The organization directly supports programs that help increase access to vital resources such as housing, education, childhood development and more. Their funding connects children with summer and after-school programs and provides meals for students when school is not in session. They serve as the local partner of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which provides free books for children from birth to age 5. Their 211 Helpline connects those in our community to resources that address needs like food insecurity, housing and employment assistance.

Plan your donation today. Payroll deductions, recurring gifts or one-time credit card donations can be made online at unitedway.uark.edu through Nov. 1. Payroll deductions begin in January 2025.
