The 2024 issue of A+, the Honors College Magazine, is available now. Mine your knowledge of Arkansas rocks with a tour of the new GeoLab outside Gearhart Hall, journey through Japan with Honors Passport and break through the byline of novel research with undergraduate first authors.

A+ also reports on the latest honors student research, from Jackson Walton's thoughtful exploration into the decline of community banks to teaching students writing through the tenets of video game world building with Terrell Page.

This year, we also celebrate our alumni who took valuable lessons from the U of A and made an impact in communities across the nation and the world, like Adrienne C. Nelson, who became the first Black woman to serve on the U.S. District Court in Oregon, and Laura Lieber, whose interest in ancient Judaism led her to study in Jerusalem and later, to teach at Duke University and the University of Regensburg in Germany.

In addition to research, our students pursue a variety of internships while in undergrad to help prepare them for their future careers. Walk through the doors of WelcomeHealth Clinic with Path Scholar Caleb Flores as he gains experience for medical school while helping refugees in the Northwest Arkansas community access critical civil surgeon services in this year's A+ Presents video:
