Instructors, adjuncts, and graduate students from all areas of the University of Arkansas are invited to participate in Arkansas Tech University’s second annual “Adjunct Conference: A Professional Development & Networking Opportunity” event.

The conference takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 on Arkansas Tech's main campus in Russellville, at both Rothwell Hall and the Doc Bryan Building.

The cost of registration is $15. There is also a virtual attendance option.

Additionally, the Arkansas Tech’s Committee on Adjunct Support is looking for faculty to be on roundtable panels, adjunct lecturers to present and attend, and graduate student participation, as well.

“This is a great professional development opportunity and an excellent chance to network with fellow instructors, adjuncts, and graduate students from across the state,” said Alexander Duvall, assistant director of Workforce Coordination and Development for U of A’s Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.

“Now in its second year, this conference is also quickly becoming a tradition and event to look forward to,” he added.

Register for the conference.
