U of A United Way Campaign Happening Now
United Way

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – This year's U of A United Way Campaign begins today and runs through Nov. 1 with the goal of raising $100,000 to support United Way of Northwest Arkansas.

Renewals and new donations will be accepted online throughout the campaign.

"The University of Arkansas is always committed to uplifting families throughout our state," said Suzanne McCray, vice provost of Enrollment Services and one of campus' three campaign co-chairs. "Our partnership with the United Way of Northwest Arkansas provides an opportunity to come together and make a difference for those communities we serve."

The United Way of Northwest Arkansas has served the region since 1931 with the goal of bringing communities together to help those in need throughout the state. With support from the community, United Way of NWA distributes 126,000 books each year to area preschool-aged children through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program, and over the last 10 years, the organization has awarded over $13 million in Community Investment Grants to area nonprofits.

These are just a few ways that donations directly support programs that help increase access to vital resources such as housing, education, childhood development and more. Consider donating today.

Payroll deductions, recurring gifts or one-time credit card donations can be made online at unitedway.uark.edu beginning Oct. 1. Payroll deductions begin in January 2025.
