U of A Facilities Management was busy at work this summer in preparation for the fall 2024 semester.

Dozens of projects ranging from small-scale repairs and improvements to full-fledged renovations have helped ensure the Hill is ready to welcome both new and returning Razorbacks to Fayetteville.

Check out some of the most notable changes to campus.

Fulbright Dining Hall

Located in Morgan Hall, the Fulbright Dining area underwent a full renovation to improve students' dining experience. The project included new kitchen equipment such as cabinets, countertops, cold food wells, food shields, refrigerators and other miscellaneous kitchen equipment. There's also a new layout for the serving area that will help create a more efficient serving flow. The serving area received a new stainless-steel wall covering, new ceilings and fresh paint. New signage and furniture are on its way.

McIlroy Avenue

The green space at the east entrance of Yocum Hall has been redesigned to improve pedestrian and ADA access as well as create an area that is more visually appealing.

The front plaza at the Walton College of Business also underwent improvements to the front walkway and doorway.

Residence Halls

Crews installed new windows at Reid Hall, replaced all roofs at the Maple Hill residences and replaced windows and roofing at Yocum Hall.
