Reminder: Move Your Vehicle Before Football Games

The parking department would like to welcome all new campus members to the Hill and welcome back our returning students and faculty/staff members! We are glad you are here and want to assist in any way we can regarding parking on campus.

One of the most important things to remember this fall is that home football games require many of our campus parking lots to be vacated by 11:59 p.m. the night before the game, including all student green lots. The first game is this Saturday, Sept. 14, against UAB.

The other home games this season are:

  • Oct. 5 vs Tennessee
  • Oct. 19 vs LSU
  • Nov. 2 vs Ole Miss
  • Nov. 16 vs Texas
  • Nov. 23 vs Louisiana Tech

There are a couple resources available to ensure you know when and where to move your vehicle.

The first is to set up reminders through your Outlook calendar.

Add Parking Events to Outlook Calendar

  • Right click on "My Calendars" heading in your Outlook email.
  • Select "Add Calendar" then "Open Shared Calendar."
  • Enter the name "PARK: Athletic Events" then click OK.

You should now see the calendar in your calendar.

Follow Social Media

The second resource is to follow @uarkservices on Instagram or U of A Campus Services on Facebook. There will be a social media post before each game reminding permit holders to move their vehicles.

To know which lots need to be vacated for home football games, please view the football parking map.

The economy lot (Lot 500) is available for those who need to move their vehicles. Any vehicle with a current U of A parking permit is permitted to park in Lot 500, located on Beechwood Avenue.

Vehicles that remain in the lots will be cited ($150 fee) and relocated to the Baum-Walker west lot on Razorback Road. If your vehicle is relocated, you can go to Baum-Walker West to retrieve it whenever you choose. It will be ready to drive.

Please familiarize yourself with the campus parking map to know your options for moving your vehicle before game days.

Thank you for helping us create a welcoming environment for Razorback fans on game days.
