Fayetteville Policies and Procedures: Policy Update
The following Fayetteville Policies and Procedures have been updated:
Policy updated to align with Board of Trustees Policy 360.1 regarding post-issuance compliance with bond obligations. Additionally, bond payment procedures have been relocated to a linked appendix to improve clarity and streamline the policy.
FPP 307.0 Collateralization Guidelines
The updated policy now includes Federal Home Loan Bank Letters of Credit as an acceptable form of collateral. The changes also to remove references to petty cash and revolving funds reflecting the discontinuation of these fund types.
FPP 321.0 Lost and Undeliverable Paychecks and Final Compensation for Terminating Employees
The updated policy now expressly references state law requirements regarding unclaimed property. Further, the policy introduces a dedicated section for lost paychecks, outlining the replacement process and an associated fee. This fee can be waived for those who choose direct deposit.
The updated policy emphasizes the obligation for both employees and departments to promptly report any salary or payment errors, including overpayments, to Payroll Services and department heads, so such errors can be timely addressed.
FPP 731.0 Vehicles on Campus Sidewalks and Hardscape
Minor updates, including exception for vehicles with facilities management vehicle ID.
