U of A's Pride Employee Resource Group, formerly known as the Lavendar ERG, is dedicated to supporting and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community within our campus. PRIDE provides a welcoming space where LGBTQIA+ staff and faculty can connect, find support and foster a culture of belonging at the university.

In service of its purpose, the Pride ERG is hosting a series of monthly Pride Coffee Hours on the second Thursday of every month at 8:30 a.m. at Hill Coffee Company in the Arkansas Union. The series will kick off on Sept.12, with Pride covering the cost of coffee for those who attend (registration is required).

"Pride Coffee Hours are an intentional time for queer folks to come together, connect and build community," notes Sarah Werner, a member of the Pride ERG Leadership Team. "This will be a relaxed and informal opportunity to chat, enjoy some delicious coffee and give your input on future ERG programming."

"Employee ERGs on campus are a vital part of our commitment to being an employer of choice," notes Angela Mosley-Monts, director of Belonging and Engagement for the Office of Equal Opportunity, Compliance & Title IX. "Building community, caring for one another's well-being, helping people thrive in their careers and building a culture of belonging are core components of Pride and all our Employee Resource Groups."
