The U of A Dance Company, known as The Movement, is preparing for its third year on campus. The Movement is dedicated to making dance accessible to all and fostering a dynamic dance culture within the U of A community.

This student-led organization works towards its goals by providing diverse opportunities for dancers to grow and perform at the collegiate level, as well as educating the local community to deepen their understanding and appreciation of dance as an art form.

Interested in joining? Come to our informational meeting from 6-7 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 27, in Kimpel Hall room 402.

Auditions for the dance company will take place at noon Sunday, Sept. 8, at Nadine Baum Studios, located at 505 W. Spring St.

Attending the informational meeting is not mandatory to audition. For more details, follow @uarkthemovement on Instagram.
