Italian Program Offers Italian for Romance Language Speakers
This fall, the Italian Program (WLLC Department) offers Italian for Romance Language Speakers I and II. These courses are designed for students who already know or have learned Spanish, French, Portuguese, Romanian or Catalan in high school or at university and have discovered the many advantages that speaking more than one language can bring to their life. They are an opportunity to quickly learn another world language in just two semesters.
Italian for Romance Language Speakers I presents the materials of ITAL 10103 and ITAL 10203 (Elementary Italian I and II) in one semester. If students are pursuing a language major and are asked to take two semesters of an additional language, this course would count for that requirement. For those who have completed ITAL 10103 or ITAL 11103 and are eager to continue for more, ITAL 21103 combines two intermediate semesters in one.
