Employees Invited to Learn How to Understand the Pay Components of Their Compensation

Human Resources, Payroll Services and User Solutions will host virtual office hour sessions on Tuesday, July 16, and Friday, July 19, to help employees better understand the components of their pay, including how to view the 3 percent cost of living adjustment (COLA) that was provided to eligible employees, effective on their July 15 payslip.

The drop-in sessions are open to any current employee interested in learning more about how to view any pay changes that may appear in their payslip so that they may have questions answered, and learn how to use Workday to view compensation at any time.

NOTE: These sessions are not intended to cover the substance of the Staff Classification and Compensation Project. Manager training is currently taking place during the month of July. There will be additional office hours tentatively scheduled to be offered in September that will not only answer questions about how to read the components of a payslip, but also will provide an opportunity to learn more about the project. September is the anticipated timeline so the university can align with the implementation of the Staff Classification and Compensation Project, Faculty Compensation Project and Graduate Assistant Compensation Benchmarking Project. Stay tuned for more communications about these sessions.
