The College of Education and Health Professions is looking for creative and enthusiastic students to join its "COEHP Highlighters" team this fall.

The college has 10 openings, and the deadline to apply for these paid positions is Aug. 9. Students in the college who are passionate about their academic program, active on social media and eager to share their stories may apply here to become a COEHP Highlighter.

Highlighters shine a light on the caring college, partnering with communications to create social media campaigns about day-to-day life in their major, help with marketing projects and brainstorm ideas for connecting with fellow students.

Students from every COEHP major are invited to participate. The college prepares teachers, nurses, speech-language pathologists, public health specialists, recreation and sports professionals, counselors, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, exercise scientists and more.

Kaylie Mahar was among the first group of students to participate in the college's social media ambassador program last year.

"I enjoyed getting to learn from one another and creatively thinking about ways to promote student engagement in the College of Education and Health Professions."

Before becoming a Highlighter, students must be enrolled in the college's undergraduate or graduate program for at least one full semester. Students are paid $350 a semester, and appointments are re-evaluated after the fall term. The application provides more details about the perks, requirements and responsibilities.
