Registration Now Open for 'Conserving the Natural State' Forum Sept. 6-8
Registration is now open for the "Conserving the Natural State" Forum, a conference focused on addressing challenges to the natural habitats of Arkansas, that will be held from Sept. 6-8.
The conference will be held at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute in Morrilton and is coordinated by the U of A's Environmental Dynamics interdisciplinary graduate program in partnership with the University of Arkansas Monticello College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The conference is intended for university/college researchers and educators, graduate students, and public and private sector representatives interested in conservation. A keynote speaker will be Dale Hall, vice president and board member for Five Oaks Ag Research and Education Center. Hall is also a former CEO of Ducks Unlimited and director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The early bird registration fee for students will be $50, $100 for professionals, and general admission after early bird registration will be $300.
