Nominate Staff for Employee of the 4th Quarter
University Relations

The campus community is invited and encouraged to nominate staff employees in recognition of outstanding service to the university for the fourth quarter: April, May, and June. This is your opportunity to recognize a colleague who consistently goes above and beyond, demonstrates exceptional teamwork and/or embodies the U of A's core values.

To nominate a staff member, use the form found here or request a form by contacting Ashley Reeves at eoq@uark.edu.

The deadline to nominate for the Employee of the 4th Quarter is Monday, July 15.

Each quarter, five outstanding U of A employees (classified or non-classified) are selected as Employee of the Quarter representing one of each of the following five categories:

  • Category I: Professional/Non-faculty - Administrative
  • Category I: Professional/Non-faculty - Academic
  • Category II: Secretarial/Clerical
  • Category III: Technical/Paraprofessional
  • Category IV: Skilled Crafts/Service/Maintenance

Eligibility for nomination:

  • Any staff member, classified or non-classified, may be nominated if he or she has been employed at the U of A for at least one year.
  • Self-nomination is not accepted or recognized. The employee must be nominated by a peer, co-worker or supervisor.
  • Any employee who has been selected as Employee of the Quarter within the last three years is not eligible.

Employees of the Year are selected from the candidates who have been chosen as Employees of the Quarter throughout the year.
