Students enjoy a project during Campus Day 2024.

About 130 students in grades six, seven and eight, as well as personnel from McDonald County, Missouri, schools attended the University Access Talent Search's U of A Campus Day 2024 on May 15.

Students saw hands-on, interactive presentations by faculty from the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences representing the following departments: Horticulture, Poultry Science, Food Science and the School of Human Environmental Sciences. Students arrived on campus in the morning for a general welcome and introduction to the college, rotated through each of the four different presentations, ate lunch on campus and ended their day with fun and prizes.

Showcasing the U of A, prospective students got the chance to explore different majors and job opportunities within those disciplines as well as future opportunities that await them as students at the U of A.
