Discover RED: Stressing Steel
The latest Discover RED highlights research being done at the Harvell Civil Engineering Research and Education Center, the first of its kind in the state. A large-scale structural testing facility, CEREC allows students and faculty to conduct research and provides teaching laboratories related to material testing. The research done at CEREC enables development of more efficient, safer and cost-effective construction methods for steel, concrete and timber in Arkansas, as well as the nation.
Discover RED is a new video series produced by University Relations and its Arkansas Research and Economic Development communications team that sheds light on the impactful research and economic development stories taking place at the U of A and how they are helping to build a better world. More of these stories will be shared throughout the year. You can find other news stories and podcasts by visiting arkansasresearch.uark.edu.
