This one-credit course, offered in the second eight-week session of fall 2024 (Oct. 9 to Nov. 5), provides a comprehensive exploration of Arab culture. From language and literature to music and cuisine, students will delve into the rich tapestry of Arab traditions, guided by our expert team of four Arabic faculty members.

No Arabic required. 

Through engaging lectures and community interactions, students will gain valuable insights into the diversity and complexity of Arab societies. Topics include cultural norms, language history, religious diversity, family dynamics, literature, art, cuisine, historical contributions and the experiences of Arabs in America.
