The U of A College of Engineering is hosting its annual girls' transportation engineering summer day camp, GirlTREC, at the U of A campus July 8-12.

Since 2017, GirlTREC has been hosted by the Maritime Transportation Research and Education Center (MarTREC), a U.S. Department of Transportation University Center.

The GirlTREC camp is designed for rising sixth- and seventh-grade girls with a focus on hands-on activities related to transportation engineering. The activities consist of transportation-related field trips (train ride, virtual reality driving, drone in action) interacting with industry experts and engaging with engineering faculty and students.

Scholarships are available. Please apply.

Register for the camp and find additional camp information.
