The Honors College is pleased to recognize the outstanding members of its Ambassadors service program. Ambassadors promote various opportunities available through the Honors College, from connecting with prospective students at events like Convocation, Discovery Day and Fellowship Interview Day, to volunteering at workshops for current students such as Recess and the Pulse discussion series.

"The Honors College Ambassadors offer invaluable support at honors events and with various honors initiatives," said Chelsea Hodge, director of grants and research innovation, who oversees the program. "But the program also provides students with a way to build their resume starting as freshmen! Through their volunteer work, students make friends with fellow students, connect with honors faculty and staff, and more fully engage in the honors community."

Outstanding ambassadors have supported and participated in several events this year to earn gold, silver or bronze status.

"It has been a wonderful experience working with this year's executive board, and I can't wait to see how next year's board will continue to grow the Honors College Ambassadors program," said Jenova Kempkes, Honors College Ambassadors Executive Board president. "I just want to say thank you on behalf of this year's exec board. Thank you to everyone that has gone above and beyond to volunteer at events this year. This program is such a success because everyone is willing to step up and donate their time."
