In celebration of Earth month, Days for Girls at the U of A invites students to attend a workshop to make sustainable menstrual health kits for underserved communities from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in Kimpel Hall classroom 0314.

Days for Girls is a newly formed club that aims to increase free access to menstrual health products to underserved communities by distributing Days for Girls kits. Each kit comes in a drawstring bag and includes reusable cloth menstrual pads made up of colorful shields and liners. Students are encouraged to attend this event to make the liner component of the kit. Additionally, in celebration of Earth week, we will be highlighting the impact of sustainable menstrual health products on the environment. Furthermore, to celebrate Earth Week,  we will also have a plant station where attendees can put together potted succulents to take home.

This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee. This event is held in a venue that meets ADA standards. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend this event.
