Honorable Consul of Peru Liliana Trelles to Give Talk at U of A

Liliana Trelles, Honorable Consul of Peru in Dallas, is a specialist in international relations as well as security, national development and defense. She has been serving as General Consul of Peru since 2020. Trelles will visit the U of A to meet with Lindsey Aloia, the associate dean of the Graduate School and International Education, and Sara Parrott, director of the International Students and Scholars Office.

Trelles' visit to the U of A also includes a meeting with Latin American and Latine students 2-2:40 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Latin American and Latino Studies Office, Old Main 203, and a talk titled "Positioning Peru in the International Panorama" from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at Mullins Library, room 439.

This event is possible due to the generous support of the World Languages, Literatures and Cultures Department and the Latin American and Latino Studies Program.
