Namaste, Asalamu alaikum, vannakkam, Namaskāra!
On behalf of the South Asian Student Association (SASA), we are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for our upcoming South Asian Cultural Night event from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in the Arkansas Union Theatre.
The South Asian Cultural Night promises to be an evening filled with captivating performances by talented students, enlightening talks from faculty members, vibrant music and delectable food. We are proud to announce that the food for the event will be catered by Flavours, featuring a menu of 10 delicious delicacies. This event marks our inaugural celebration, and we are delighted to offer tickets free of charge. The first lot of tickets will be available to acquire in person in front of the Union this week and next week. We also advise securing your tickets early, as the last lot of tickets will be released closer to the event date and are limited in number.
SASA is an organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting South Asian culture while fostering a sense of community and belonging among students. Our goal is to provide a platform for cultural exchange and appreciation within the U of A campus.
This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the Student Activities fee. Furthermore, we are seeking volunteers and performers to contribute to the success of the Cultural Night.
