C3 Ministry & Muslim Students Association: Why Does God Allow Suffering?

The Muslim Students Association at the U of A has partnered with C3 Ministry and invites all students to attend our interfaith dialogue over the age-old question of "Why Does God Allow Suffering?" This discussion seems important to have in a world where conflict and pain seem to be never-ending and continuously increasing, while people find it difficult to find meaning in such struggle. This event will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, in Hillside Auditorium room 206 (HILL 206), and will be followed by a free dinner from Tangiers (vegetarian options will be provided)!

Muslim guest speaker Anwar Arafat is the director of iERA US, an international Islamic outreach and dawah group. He has completed a master's degree in Islamic Leadership from the Islamic Seminary of America (TISA) and currently serves as the local imam at the Memphis Islamic Center. Christian guest speaker Noah Graves graduated with his Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and currently serves as the associate college pastor at C3, Fayetteville, where he oversees all discipleship and spiritual formation ministries for college students in the church.

This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee. This event is held in a venue that meets ADA standards. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend this event.
