Visit With Food on the Hill During the Making Your Day Work Carnival March 28
The Division of Finance and Administration invites university employees to attend the Making Your Day Work Carnival, scheduled for Thursday, March 28.
This unique event serves not only to showcase the various departments across campus who work to enhance the overall employee experience, but also to raise awareness among employees regarding the diverse and exceptional services offered by the university that may be overlooked in the hustle of daily routines.
This event offers an opportunity for staff and faculty to connect face-to-face with units they may have previously interacted with only virtually or over the phone.

DEPARTMENT SPOTLIGHT: FOOD ON THE HILL
Food on the Hill at the U of A offers on-campus dining with over 20 locations. Situated in various dining halls and eateries across the university campus, Food on the Hill provides a diverse array of dining options to accommodate a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences. From freshly prepared meals to grab-and-go snacks, Food on the Hill offers a variety of cuisines, including traditional American fare, international dishes, vegetarian and vegan options, and more. Students, faculty, staff and visitors alike can easily access nutritious and delicious meals to fuel their day.
Food on the Hill provides a range of faculty/staff meal plan options that can save up to 25% on campus dining meals. These meal plans offer a convenient and efficient addition to lunchtime routines. Additionally, employees have flexibility to invite coworkers and share meals from the plan with them. Plans never expire until fully utilized, and Food on the Hill also offers payroll deduction for added convenience.
Employees are invited to learn more about the services that the Food on the Hill team provides by visiting their booth at the carnival. The booth will feature a Motivational Quote Spin Wheel; spin to discover an inspiring quote that will brighten your day.
The Making Your Day Work Carnival is a collaborative effort led by several departments that comprise the VCFA (Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration) including User Solutions, University IT Services (UITS), Human Resources and Financial Affairs. Participants Needed for a Time-Restricted Feeding Study
The Department of Food Science and the Center for Human Nutrition are recruiting adults between the ages of 23-65 years to participate in a nutrition study related to time-restricted feeding (eating for eight hours and fasting for 16 hours each day).
