Get Your 10 With the VAC
The Volunteer Action Center (VAC) is hosting a week of volunteer events March 4 - 9 to encourage students to get 10 service hours and join the VAC!
The VAC is a student-led organization within the Center for Community Engagement that connects U of A students to long-term volunteer opportunities with its programs and short-term volunteer opportunities within the community. When students join, they have the opportunity to receive free and exclusive perks such as food, T-shirts and service awards.
Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to participate in events such as enjoying free Chick-fil-A at a VAC hangout, learning about volunteering with nonprofit organization through a Zoom informational session, enjoying the nice weather while partaking in a trail cleanup and more! Students will receive service events for all events that they participate in.
The VAC encourages all students to make service a part of their college career and to kickstart/boost their volunteer journey through participating in these volunteer events. To learn more about events being hosted and to register for an event, please visit our GivePulse page!
We look forward to seeing you next week! For questions, please email us!
