U of A Participating in Nationwide Challenge to Perform 500,000 Random Acts of Kindness
We had an absolutely delightful time at the U of A during our celebration of DelightFUL last week! We're immensely grateful to everyone who joined us and helped us surpass our goal of completing 15,000 random acts of kindness. The energy and enthusiasm from our fellow students and the amazing support from our campus partners truly warmed our hearts.
Our event featured 10 tables hosted by campus partners and our team, Food on the Hill, offering a variety of activities to spread acts of kindness such as giving cookies with kind notes, leaving cookies with kind notes, creating flower bouquets, writing postcards to a loved one or a friend, spreading the joy beyond our campus borders by writing kind notes in coloring books for the children's hospital and more. During the day at Fulbright Dining Hall and Pomfret Dining Hall, we hope our guests enjoyed our DelightFUL-themed menu and were encouraged to stop by the Union Food Court to participate in the celebration!
Throughout the week, we continued to spread kindness on campus through Love, Chartwells where we passed out freshly baked cookies and Hershey kisses. Additionally, we visited the local children's hospital, donating Kind Bars, crayons and coloring books filled with kind notes written by students during our DelightFUL event.
It was an incredibly rewarding week as we spread kindness to our guests, associates and campus partners! None of this would have been possible without the support and participation of everyone involved. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to making DelightFUL such a memorable and impactful event!
