Spielabend: German Game Night at the World Languages and Digital Humanities Studio
Students enjoy the January Spielabend at the World Languages and Digital Humanities Studio.
The German section of the World Languages Department kicked off its first game night and conversation table event — Spielabend (game night) on Jan. 26.
The event took place at the World Languages and Digital Humanities Studio, on J.B. Hunt 207.
German teaching assistant Ellen McPherson led students into a fun-filled, competitive game night.
There were more than 10 German students in attendance, and they played games such as Tabu, Werwölfe (Werewolves) and Codenames all while practicing their conversation skills in German.
If you are a German student or enthusiast, the next Spielabend will take place from 4 to 7 p.m Friday, March 1, at J.B. Hunt Center 207. All learning levels are welcome.
