Call for Breakout Session Leaders: 2024 U of A Teaching Camp

The Wally Cordes Teaching and Faculty Support Center is excited to announce a call for proposals to lead breakout sessions at our 2024 Teaching Camp. Teaching camp will be held Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 5-6, at Crystal Bridges and the Momentary in Bentonville. Breakout sessions typically have a duration of 45-50 minutes and are led by two or three faculty. Sessions should include a combination of information delivery and attendee activity.

Faculty may submit proposals individually or in small groups. A proposal should be a PDF (submitted as an email attachment to tfsc@uark.edu) that includes a descriptive title, an abstract of no more than 250 words and the name(s), the title(s) and the department/unit affiliation(s) of the presenter(s). TFSC co-directors plan to notify presenters of proposal acceptance by April 1. The co-directors may ask authors of similar proposals to combine their ideas and re-submit.

We are excited to showcase innovative and effective teaching at the U of A! Please reach out with any questions.
