Employees Asked to Submit Dependent Verification for Health Benefit Coverage

The University of Arkansas System is conducting a dependent (spouse) eligibility audit for all system institutions. On Jan. 30, employees with dependents listed on their health benefits coverage plans received an email from University of Arkansas Human Resources notifying them of the audit and that they would receive more information in the mail.

Please note that employees who enrolled in health benefits coverage on or after Oct. 1, 2023 are exempt from this audit.

The system is partnering with Part D Advisors (PDA), a third-party service provider specializing in health benefit coverage reviews. The purpose of the verification is to confirm that all enrolled spouses meet health benefits eligibility rules, and to allow employees to update their contact information. Instructions have been or will be mailed to the home address listed for each employee in Workday, so it is important that employees ensure their home address and birth date are accurate in Workday.

All questions about this audit should be directed to the PDA Verification Team by calling (833) 902-4808. Due to federal health privacy law, Human Resources is not authorized to share any information or field questions about this audit. All information provided to the PDA Verification Team in response will be kept strictly confidential. There will be another eligibility verification audit for non-spouse dependents later this year.
