FURst Tuesday at SRVC.

The Sexual and Relationship Violence Center is pleased to again partner with Love on a Leash to offer FURst Tuesday, an interactive wellbeing event. During the spring 2024 semester, on the first Tuesday of each month, therapy dogs and their owners will be available along with SRVC staff outside of the SRVC to engage with anyone in need of a little TLC.

"I love Furst Tuesday because I get to take an hour and go decompress with some dogs across the street from my dorm. It is a great study break!" as told to graduate assistant Carly Bloomberg.

"Furst Tuesday is one of our most popular events," said Mary A. Wyandt-Hiebert, SRVC director. "Many students come every month. It's good to catch up with our regular attendees and to welcome new participants, too."

The event runs from 6 to 7 p.m. outside of SRVC located in Suite 113 of the Garland Garage Office and Retail Shops. All are welcome to drop in and spend as much time as one likes during the hour. Several dogs will be present. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the SRVC.
