2023 Electronic W-2 Forms Now Available
Current U of A employees who elected to receive electronic-only 2023 W-2 forms may now view their W-2 in Workday. To view the W-2, navigate to "My Tax Documents," where a list of all prior W-2 forms will appear. Employees may view and print the W-2 using the button under "Employee Copy" corresponding with tax year 2023. A notification will also appear on the Workday home page under "Timely Suggestions."
Current employees who opted for both electronic and paper copies of their W-2 will be able to view them in Workday on Jan. 31, and the paper copy will be postmarked by Jan. 31.
Employees may view and/or change tax form printing elections to receive an electronic copy only by follow these instructions in Workday:
-
Click the "My Tax Documents" button.
-
Locate the "Printing Election" column and click "Edit."
-
Choose "Receive an electronic copy of my Year-End Tax Documents."
-
Click "OK."
Employees who switch to receiving a W-2 electronically only will immediately receive their 2023 W-2 in Workday.
To change a mailing address, current employees may log in to Workday and update their "home contact" information. Employees may also contact their HR partner or complete a change address form and email it to payroll@uark.edu.
Note: Employees no longer working at the U of A will receive a paper copy of the 2023 W-2 form to the mailing address they submitted in Workday prior to leaving the university. The paper copy will be postmarked by Jan. 31. Those who leave the university will automatically default to receiving a paper copy even if they had elected electronic only while employed with the university. For current employees unable to access Workday or if a paper copy is not received, payroll will begin processing duplicate W-2 request forms on Feb. 19 in the order the request is received. This allows time for the original form to be returned and processed prior to issuing a duplicate form.
