Time is Running Out; Donate to RazorGifts Today
This is the final week to support the RazorGifts Staff Holiday Giving program sponsored by Staff Senate. We are close to fulfilling all the wishes for nine staff families, but we need your help to complete our shopping list. Select a gift from those remaining on the registry or make a gift card donation at www.giftster.com.
Gifts may be ordered online and shipped directly or delivered in person to Autumn Parker in WCOB 328. All donated gifts must be received by Dec. 8 to allow for sorting and pickup in time for the holidays. No time to shop or ship? Amazon gift cards sent to ssgifts@uark.edu will be used to purchase remaining items not selected from the virtual site before Dec. 8.
Donations of wrapping paper, tape and ribbon/bows are also welcome.
Instructions for purchasing gifts, the shipping address and additional information can be found on the Staff Senate RazorGifts website.
Questions? Contact Parker or Kaitlyn Riggin at ssgifts@uark.edu.
About RazorGifts: The RazorGifts Staff Holiday Giving is an employee-to-employee gifting program. Gifts made under the Staff Holiday Giving Program are made by members of the university community to dependent children of university employees and are not gifts to the university. The U of A is not a participant, and U of A resources are not used.
About Staff Senate: Created in 1976 by Board of Trustees Policy 810.1, Staff Senate and its elected senators have the responsibility of making recommendations to university leadership on any matter of staff concern, including quality of work life, the efficiency of operations and staff service to the campus community. Staff Senate advocates in the areas of compensation, working conditions, health and wellness, fringe benefits, safety, parking and other workplace issues. In addition, Staff Senate works to celebrate, recognize and give back to staff through programs such as Employees of the Quarter & Year, awards for Staff Team and Part-Time Employee of the Year, Staff Appreciation Week, the annual Staff Appreciation Picnic, Staff Senate Scholarships and RazorGifts.
Monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month from 3-4:30 p.m. and are open to the public both in person and virtually. Meeting details, lists of sitting senators and additional information can be found at Staff Senate website.
