Deadline Today for Faculty to Apply for the Mentoring Graduate Students Workshop
Want to become a better faculty mentor to your graduate students and postdocs? Sign up for our Mentoring Graduate Students Workshop this semester to learn best practices to inspire, direct and professionally develop your graduate mentees. Attendees will join a faculty mentoring community to share ideas and experiences to promote student and research/scholarship success.
This seven-session interactive workshop series allows faculty to develop a mentoring philosophy, experiment with various mentoring methods and discuss mentoring challenges and successes with peers.
The workshops will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every other Wednesday starting Jan. 17, and lunch will be provided. The selected faculty must attend all seven sessions to receive a certificate of completion.
The deadline to apply is by 5 p.m. Dec. 15. Please download this flyer and share this opportunity with your colleagues — all faculty are invited to apply. Selected participants will be informed by Jan. 5.
