Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive Organized by Latinx RSOs on Campus

Interested in aiding your local community before the holidays and gaining a community service hour? Multiple Hispanic organizations on campus — including the Central American Student Alliance, Panamanian Student Organization, Mexican-American Student Association and Latin Graduate Student Organization — are hosting a drop-off canned food drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, in Old Main 203. Those who donate canned goods will receive a service hour through Givepulse.

This event is open to all members of the community. Attendees will not be required to purchase or reserve tickets. To receive a service hour through Givepulse, you must be a student at the U of A enrolled in at least one credit hour.

For more information regarding the event and/or the organizations involved, please contact Daniella Fernandez at daf006@uark.edu or Pablo Escovar at paescova@uark.edu.
