Clorinda Donato, professor of French and Italian at CSU-Long Beach, will give a workshop on "Computer-Assisted Translation: DH Tools for Language Learning" at the World Languages & Digital Humanities Studio (JBHT 207) from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30.

Professor Donato is the director of The Clorinda Donato Center for Global Romance Languages and Translation Studies and has been integrating digital humanities tools in her translation curricula in recent years. 

In this workshop, Donato will demonstrate how to incorporate the tool Voyant into the language translation classroom, drawing from her own teaching experiences. Donato will also make the case for adopting digital humanities practices at any point in your career! 

This event is free and open to the U of A community, and lunch will be provided. There is limited space, so please RSVP here no later than end of day today, Friday, Oct. 27, if you plan to attend.
